Each month, United Fintech issues its Media Monthly update on who wrote what and where about United Fintech, its partner companies and people.
FairXchange’s announcement of collaboration with Saxo Bank still reverberated in the beginning of February as FinanceFeeds in a follow-up story about Saxo Bank on February 5 referenced in passing that the Danish bank had “… recently become a part of the growing FairXchange ecosystem to augment its data-driven communication with Liquidity Providers (LPs). In this collaboration, FairXchange is supplying Saxo Bank with its Horizon liquidity management platform.”
United Fintech secures strategic investments from BNP Paribas and Citi
The year’s shortest month mostly gave calm before the storm though as United Fintech announced towards the end on February 27 that it had secured strategic investments from BNP Paribas and Citi, marking the beginning of a broad industry shift towards collaborative fintech innovation on United Fintech’s neutral Digital Transformation Platform:
“More than a significant milestone for United Fintech, the backing of Citi and BNP Paribas is a testimony of forward-thinking leadership. As momentum builds, we project that more financial institutions will soon follow: Our vision of a neutral industry platform for digital transformation, to swiftly enable access to the world’s most innovative fintechs, is shared by every single C-level executive we’ve spoken with for the past four years, and their support energises our pursuit of a unified ecosystem”, said United Fintech CEO Christian Frahm in a press release also supported with quotes by the banks who went on to share the news on BNP Paribas’ and Citi’s official LinkedIn accounts.
The story became amongst the most cited ones during February in the global fintech industry with mentions in trade media like FFnews, FinExtra, Asset Servicing Times, Financial IT, FundsTech, Fintech Futures, Finance Magnates, Maddyness, The Industry Spread, Traders Magazine, The Full FX and numerous others in addition to Danish and international business media outlets like Berlingske, Børsen, JP/Finans, BNNbreaking and Yahoo! Finance.
